1. Information we collect

VestiCalm collects no personal information of any kind. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not collect health or wellness data.
• We do not collect usage analytics or session logs.
• We do not use advertising identifiers or tracking technologies.
• We do not collect crash reports or diagnostic data through the app itself.

Apple may collect anonymized crash and performance data through the iOS operating system if you have opted into Apple's data sharing on your device. This is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and is outside our control or access.

2. App permissions

VestiCalm requests only the permissions necessary for audio playback:

• Audio playback — required to deliver the 100 Hz tone through your headphones. No microphone access is requested or used.
• Background audio — allows the session to continue when you lock your screen or switch apps.

No other device permissions are requested.

3. Data storage

VestiCalm stores only your duration preference locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism. This preference never leaves your device and is not associated with any identifier.

No data is stored on any server. We operate no servers.

4. Internet connectivity

VestiCalm does not require an internet connection and makes no network requests of any kind. The app functions entirely on-device.

5. CarPlay

When VestiCalm is used through Apple CarPlay, the same privacy principles apply. No additional data is collected through the CarPlay interface. CarPlay connectivity is managed by Apple and your vehicle's head unit; any data associated with CarPlay usage is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your vehicle manufacturer's policy.

6. Children's privacy

VestiCalm does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we collect no data at all, VestiCalm is safe for use by people of all ages.

7. Third-party services

VestiCalm does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or crash reporting services. There are no third-party dependencies that could collect data.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Because we collect no data, a change in policy would most likely reflect a change in the app's feature set. We will communicate material changes through an app update notice.

9. Wellness disclaimer

VestiCalm is a wellness aid intended to help reduce the discomfort of motion sickness. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any medical condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have concerns about motion sickness or vestibular health, consult a qualified healthcare provider.
